Castle Guardian has reached 1.0. The campaign of the hero Alp starts in the valley, follows the scribe Leyla's notes to four real castles of Anatolia and ends with the Shadow Dragon at Rumeli Fortress. The game is free, needs no download and runs on phone and computer in 7 languages.
7 chapters, 21 maps
Every chapter has a rule of its own. In Alanya, pirates land from boats; in Van, towers built on grey rock reach further; in Sinop, sea fog limits what towers can see; at Rumeli Fortress, night raids shorten the range of arrows. A boss waits at the end of each chapter: Black Sail, the Rock Giant and finally the Shadow Dragon.
A fifth tower: the trebuchet
The Archer, Cannon, Ice and Magic towers are joined by the long-range Trebuchet. Each tower has two specialisations, and stars, medals and quiz points unlock 8 permanent upgrades.
The Castle Book
The history of Alanya Castle, Van Fortress, Sinop Fortress and Rumeli Fortress, with pictures drawn in code, is collected in the Castle Book. Each chapter ends with a 3-question quiz; right answers earn upgrade points.
